Ed Sheeran has said that he'll buy Lewis Capaldi 's £1.6m farmhouse - which he recommended he bought - off him after the Scots singer called a "hell hole".
The Bad Habits crooner said that if it made Lewis feel better then he would purchase the property on the outskirts of Glasgow from him. Earlier this month, Capaldi said that he was forced to move into a flat in Glasgow because the property Ed told him to buy stank of cigarettes and wet dog.
Ed Sheeran was speaking on Elvis Duran and The Morning Show in America, when he made the offer.
He said: "If I does make him feel better, I will buy the house off him. But I just want to say he said he was looking for a home, and I sent him a bunch and he went to view them.
"He went to view it and was like 'I like this enough to buy'. And I said you him... you can have your flat in the city but you need to star thinking about what your forever home is going to be because at the time you want your forever home you could have been building it for 15 years and making it this perfect spot you want to have.
"I just said to him find something you can do up and make into your forever home. But yeah, I imagine it's not great."
During the interview, Ed also claimed that Someone You Loved singer Lewis found a shopping bag of live frogs in the house.
Ed added: "But when I sent him this house, he didn't like ring them up and say 'I'll take it', he went to see it. But honestly, like I speak to him most days, and if he wants me to buy it, why not."
Lewis Capaldi has announced that he will be releasing a brand new album and also touring around the UK and Europe.
The 26-year-old rocketed straight to the top of the UK singles chart with his song ‘Forget Me’ last month, making it his third UK number 1.
And now fans of the singer have been left delighted today when he announced that his brand new album 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent' will be out on May, 19 2023 on EMI Records.
