This morning the presale opened for Ed Sheeran’s two upcoming November shows at the Royal Albert Hall.
The gigs, which will be the last Sheeran performances of the year, are titled Last Days of Autumn and will take place at the concert hall on November 18 and 19.
During the two one-off events, the 32-year-old singer will be accompanied by a live band and string section and will be playing his brand new album, Autumn Variations, in full.
“This is gonna be special,” commented the Royal Albert Hall Twitter account when Sheeran’s team announced the gigs.

Sheeran’s seventh studio album is set to be released on September 29. It will mark the first time that he’s released an album which contains zero collaborations, and is only the second time he has shared an album which does not have a mathematical symbol for a title.
Introducing the upcoming album in a press release, Sheeran, who is currently in the US on his + – = ÷ x ‘Mathematics’ Tour said: “Last autumn, I found that my friends and I were going through so many life changes. After the heat of the summer, everything either calmed, settled, fell apart, came to a head or imploded.
“When I went through a difficult time at the start of last year, writing songs helped me understand my feelings and come to terms with what was going on, and when I learned about my friend’s different situations, I wrote songs, some from their perspectives, some from mine, to capture how they and I viewed the world at that time.”
“There were highs of falling in love and new friendships among lows of heartbreak, depression, loneliness and confusion.”
Autumn Variations has been produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner, who has previously worked on production for Scottish indie rock band Frightened Rabbit, Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift.
The album will be 14 tracks long and has opaque song names such Magical, England, Amazing, Plastic Bag and Blue.
