Ed Sheeran Belfast: Where to eat and drink near the Boucher Road Playing fields before the concert

The days are ticking by as we count down to the Ed Sheeran concert at the Boucher Road Playing Fields.

We've put together an easy guide for you to find where to eat and drink before the concert starts.

The Bowery, Lisburn Road

With a gorgeous terrace perfect for a drink in the sun, The Bowery is one of the newest establishments on the Lisburn Road but has quickly become a favourite.

A short 10-minute walk will take you across to the Boucher Road Playing Fields for the concert.

The Chelsea, Lisburn Road

Set in the heart of the Lisburn Road, The Chelsea is a modern gastropub serving bistro food and drinks seven days a week.

Whether you’re looking to unwind with sophisticated cocktails, grab a quick brunch before Ed, this spot is a great choice.

Ryan's Bar, Lisburn Road

A luxurious bar and restaurant close by Balmoral station, just a few minutes walk away from the Boucher Road Playing Fields.

The bar is open from 12 noon until midnight, and there is a great range of food on offer. You can get two courses from the lunch menu for £11 and three courses for £15. The drinks menu looks promising too, with an extensive wine list and cocktails from just £5.

Deane & Decano, Lisburn Road

Part of Michael Deane's vast array of eateries, Deane and Decano is a beautiful setting for a nice romantic meal or a stylish night out with friends before the gig.

Temple, Andersonstown Road

This trendy restaurant has become a culinary favourite and is one of the most highly-rated spots on Belfast's Tripadvisor.

Nestled in the heart of west Belfast Temple is ideally positioned on the Andersonstown Road with easy access and parking at the rear of the restaurant.

The Devenish Complex, Finaghy Road North

Just over a 30-minute walk from the Ed Sheeran gig, The Devenish has something for everyone getting ready to enjoy a big night on the town.

A Belfast favourite, the complex is always lively with folks having good food, good drinks and a good time.

The Wolf and Whistle, formally the Whiteford, which is an award-winning complex that encapsulates the spirit of the west.

Cú, Lisburn Road

Located on the Lisburn Road, Cú is likely to be one of Belfast’s newest go-to spots for the new year.
