ED probe against jeweller caught in legal tangles as Telangana HC stays proceedings

ED Telangana MMTC Enforcement Directorate

HYDERABAD: Enforcement Directorate (ED) probe against jeweller Sukesh Gupta in the MMTC case is caught up in legal tangles. ED has failed to pursue the case as the Telangana high court has granted stay on the investigation proceedings.

Gadi Praveen Kumar, counsel for ED, had written several letters to the high court registrar for listing the case for final hearing, the latest being on November 15, 2021.
