ECHO reporter's top tips for bagging Taylor Swift Anfield tickets

It's a tense day for Liverpool Swifties as pre-sale tickets go on sale for Taylor Swift's UK Eras tour.

Fans were delighted to hear the popular singer would be bringing her critically acclaimed Eras tour to Liverpool, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff in 2024. Liverpool dates are on June 13, 14 and 15 at Anfield Stadium.

Yesterday, July 11, saw the first batch of presale tickets go on sale for Edinburgh and London. But those wishing to go to Liverpool will be able to get their hands on tickets from today.

There are only a small number of tickets available through presale and there is a limit to four per customer, but more dates will be available this week. Today, those wishing to go to the shows in Liverpool on June 13 or London 22 were ready to buy tickets from 11am.

Those heading to Liverpool on June 14 or London August 16 can buy tickets from 1pm. From 3pm, people can buy tickets for Liverpool, June 15. However, for some, the process has been far from easy with reports coming in of people being "kicked off" from the queue or being unable to log into their account.

ECHO reporter Abigail Nicholson was successful in bagging her tickets and was all checked out by 11.08am. Here, she has shared her top tips for those hoping to get tickets today:

  • Having your laptop open and ready (For Abby, she had one tab open on Chrome and another one incognito in case one crashed)
  • Having a Google document open with all of your card details and the pre-sale code
  • Those on AXS do not worry about your pre-sale code, you cannot copy and paste, you have to type it out
  • Once you are in, pick how many tickets you want and at what price - you don't physically pick the seats
  • From there, you just need to put in your details

This advice was echoed by the ECHO's Maria Breslin who urged people not to refresh as the queue goes quickly. But people should have their card details at the ready, including the CV number.

People should also know what tickets they want, which will save time, but you can reject tickets instead of taking the first offer.

It was previously reported fans were sharing the Anfield seating plan online as well as the ticket prices. Some tickets are costing around £125 each however the ECHO was told of large "service fees".

One fan paid around £80 in fees for four tickets. Seated tickets look to be ranging from £57.90 to around £182.75. VIP packages are also available. Tickets were priced around:

  • General admission standing - £143.40 each
  • Seated ticket - £57.90-£182.75 each - depending on where it gives you, the closer to the stage, the higher the price
  • Side view seated ticket - £57.90- £182.75 each - these are a side view of the stage
  • Partially obstructed limited view - £57.90-£182.75 each
