The Eaton Fire in Los Angeles County has burned through a total of 13,690 acres and is showing no signs of slowing down, according to Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone. During a news conference held on Thursday, Marrone expressed concern over the fire's rapid growth, stating that it has expanded since the morning press conference.

One of the main areas of focus for firefighters is the historic Mount Wilson area, as the fire is currently moving in that direction. Marrone emphasized the need for swift action to protect this significant location from the approaching flames.
