Eat Out to Help Out relaunches at famous Indian restaurant with £10 buffet deal

One of Ayrshire's most famous Indian restaurants has relaunched Eat Out to Help Out for the next six weeks.

The Jewel in the Crown is running a special £10 buffet from Sunday to Thursday until the end of November.

The three-course meal at the Kilmarnock venue also includes a feed for kids at £5.

Bosses devised the scheme as a response to the cost of living crisis with restaurant chiefs aiming to offer a "night out that won't cost a fortune".

Diners have been advised to book a space for the buffet at the Portland Street eaterie as places are limited.

The Jewel posted on Facebook: "The Jewel's very own 'eat out to help out' has arrived.

"With the cost of living increasing and Christmas coming up, our family wants to help your family. We have decided to run our £10 buffet offer from Sunday to Thursday until the end of November!

"Let us pay for the heating and come along and enjoy a 3 course buffet for only £10.00 (primary school age kids £5.00).

"We strongly recommend booking as we have very limited spaces available. And, we hope that this can help everyone enjoy a night out that won't cost a fortune.

"Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming our customers old and new. Best wishes - The Jewel team."
