Easyjet ramps up recruitment drive for new cabin crew members aged 50 plus

easyJet has launched a new recruitment campaign aimed at encouraging individuals over the age of 50 to apply for cabin crew positions.
Since introducing a targeted hiring scheme in 2022, the airline has more than doubled its cabin crew aged over 50, whilst crew members in their 60s have nearly quadrupled.
Applications for the latest cabin crew opportunities across the airline's UK bases will open from September.
The recruitment drive coincides with news that easyJet is set to be acquired by private equity firm Apollo in a £5.7 billion takeover deal.
Airline founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and the easyJet board have given their support to the Apollo acquisition to drive future growth.
