Carol Vorderman and easyJet have delighted fans with a cheeky joke as she made a career announcement.
Dressed in an orange jacket, lined with white stripes and a block black belt, the former Countdown presenter posed in front of the camera. She shared the image to her Instagram and Twitter accounts as she told fans that she was working on something new.
Realising that she resembled the well-known colours of budget airline easyJet, Carol joked that she wasn't working for them. She wrote: "I’m back shooting for my new project today… just can’t wait to share it with you all… and no it’s not working for @easyjet."

easyJet noticed the post and decided to reply back with a cheeky quip. They Tweeted an old image of Carol in her Countdown days, looking confused with a huge sum of numbers on the whiteboard behind her.
The airline company captioned it: "Us figuring out why Carol didn't turn up to work yesterday." Carol loved the joke and retweeted it.
She then went on to share it to her Instagram Stories too as she wrote: "So they made a meme. Omg @easyjet that's so funny".
