Easter massacre in Nigeria: 26 killed across three states over the weekend

At least 26 people were killed in three separate attacks over the Easter weekend in northern Nigeria, according to the Nigerian military and local officials.

The deadliest attack took place on Saturday in the Mbalom community in the Gwer West area of Benue State, where at least 17 people were killed, reported AP. Governor Hyacinth Alia confirmed the attack on Sunday, although he did not give a casualty figure.
