EastEnders star Barbara Smith looks worlds away from Albert Square in glam real life snaps she shares on social media.
The 24-year-old actress plays Dana Monroe, and joined the BBC One soap in April last year.
Her character is the daughter of Harvey Monroe, played by Ross Boatman, and the younger sister of Charlie Wernham’s troubled bad boy Aaron Monroe.
Barbara is shy and introverted while playing the role on EastEnders, but in real life, she has ditched the demure outfits and boring clothes for a more extravagant look.
The actress regularly shares pictures of herself enjoying far flung holidays, and posts snaps of her in bikinis and minidresses as she enjoys her time away from the soap.
She uploaded a black-and-white photo of her drinking a cocktail while sunning herself by a pool in an unknown tropical location, and her fans were blown away by her life away from EastEnders.
“Wow,” one of her 10,600 followers commented.

Barbara also delighted her followers with another holiday snap, showing her wearing a pink leopard print cut out dress.

Her character has been involved in several storylines since she joined less than 12 months ago, including a pregnancy scare with on-again/off-again boyfriend Bobby Beale, and her brother Aaron’s attempted terrorist attack on a mosque.
Barbara confessed she was a big fan of EastEnders, naming the reveal of Max Branning and Stacey Slater’s affair as her “favourite storyline ever”, and said she had a bit part on the show before landing the role of Dana.
She told Inside Soap she played “a girl named Ellie who sold Bex Fowler some dodgy medication”, which led to Bex having an overdose.
"I felt as if I was stepping into my TV when I first walked on to the set and it was one of those moments where I had to pinch myself,” she explained.
“The reveal of Max and Stacey's affair, followed by Bradley later falling from the roof of the Queen Vic was my favourite storyline ever,” Barbara added.
