EastEnders favourites Natalie Cassidy and Heather Peace have been busy running the streets of North London together as they prepare for the upcoming London Marathon.
The soap stars are running the annual race in honour of their late co-star Barbara Windsor, who sadly passed away in 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Peggy Mitchell legend Barbara was 83-years-old when she passed away, and three years on from her death, her co-stars are honouring her life.
As they prepare to the run the gruelling race on Sunday April 23, Natalie, 39, and Heather, 47, looked race ready as they jogged through the streets of North London.
Natalie, who plays Sonia Fowler on the BBC soap, rocked a sporty look as she donned a black long-sleeve T-shirt, a pair of leggings and a pair of unmissable purple trainers.
The actress swept her brunette locks back into a ponytail as she donned a white baseball cap.
Meanwhile Heather, who plays Eve Unwin on the BBC One soap, looked equally as ready for the marathon in her sporty gear as she donned an all black ensemble consisting of a zip-up hoodie and some leggings.
Natalie and Heather won't be the only EastEnders stars to take part in the London Marathon, however.
Former star Jake Wood, who played bad boy Max Branning, as well as and Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater, are also among the cast members who will be taking up the challenge in April as 'Bab's Army.'
They are raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK as they remember Barbara.
Natalie recently shared an update on her marathon training in a video that was uploaded to Instagram by an account on the platform that is dedicated to Babs' Army.
The clip showed the actor sporting a reddened face after having gone on a short run, which the team said in the accompanying caption is 'important for marathon training'.
"Just a quick hello from beetroot face. I know you enjoyed my redness so I just thought I'd show you this morning that my face is a completely different colour to my neck," she said.
"I haven't put any makeup on."
The actor previously took part in the London Marathon back in 2019 and she was understood to have lost three stone at the time amid her training for the event.
