EastEnders alum Lucy Benjamin was left gutted after her illness ruined Christmas and shared a selfie of herself looking worse for wear.
The actor, 52 - who is best known for having played Lisa Fowler on the BBC soap - wrote about the festive period in a post that she shared on Instagram just a few days ago.
Sharing a selfie of herself looking under the weather, the soap star was pictured frowning and appeared very tired as she stared at the camera.
Alongside the photo, she told her followers that she had been feeling unwell for quite some time. She wrote in the caption: "So ill for so bloody long. Sh*t Xmas #flu".
Her post sparked a flurry of support from her fans and former EastEnders co-stars, including Sam Mitchell actress Danniella Westbrook.
"Hope you feel better soon babe," Danniella wrote.
Martin Kemp, 61 - who played Steve Owen on the BBC soap from 1998 until 2002, when his character was killed off - wrote in the comments section: "I'm with ya!!"

Lucy joined the cast of the BBC show in 1998 and remained on the show until 2002. The character has since returned on several occasions, including stints in 2003 and 2017.
She most recently appeared on the show from 2019 to 2020, as part of a storyline involving her daughter Louise Mitchell, who was played by Tilly Keeper, now 25.
Following her initial departure from EastEnders two decades ago, Lucy took part in The X Factor : Battle of the Stars in 2006 and was later a campmate on I'm a Celebrity in 2009.
Her other credits include roles on shows like Casualty, Close to Home and Detectorists. She's also appeared in stage productions, including in a tour of musical Hairspray.
