EastEnders' Gray Atkins' secret murder victim could finally be revealed next week

EastEnders fans are hoping Walford residents will finally learn what really happened to Kush Kazemi on the BBC soap.

Kush died in what was believed to be a tragic accident last year, when in fact he had been murdered by killer Gray Atkins.

Before killing Kush, Gray caused the death of his wife Chantelle in September 2020, and just months later he murdered Tina Carter when she uncovered his crime.

It has been confirmed his killer secrets come to light very soon, as the families of his victims learn the horrifying truth after months of him escaping justice.

One family out for revenge next week is the Carters as they find out Gray killed Tina, a week on from her body being discovered in the Square.

In December, Whitney and friend Kheerat Panesar figured out Gray likely killed his wife Chantelle, after uncovering the domestic abuse she faced.

So when news of Tina's death spreads, Whitney is certain Gray was behind it and tells her family Mick and Shirley.

Whitney and Gray soon have a face-off, as she is desperate to know the truth amid his plans to flee.

But could this be the moment the truth about everything Gray has done comes to light, including what he did to Kush?

Fans certainly think so, with one writing: "Prediction 1: Gray confesses to Kush's murder: Now there is a chance that Gray could confess to Kush's murder. Gray is set to have around 3 different showdowns one of which will be with Whitney. Gray is set to give chase on Thursday when he runs out of options."

Another tweeted: "I have a feeling that gray will confess to killing kush in this showdown with whitney next week... this is the only way i sort of seeing it coming out."

A third viewer added: "I think Tina is going to be the key. Gray will finally crack & confess to the other murders. He'll take pleasure in hurting Whitney by telling her about Kush. And, no, Ben doesn't need an apology. Call it even for the drama he caused in her life.."

With her "desperate for her moment of reckoning" with the serial killer, Whitney manages to track him down and a showdown ensues.

Gray actor Toby-Alexander Smith has now hinted the twist could see Whitney lose her life, while he also suggested Gray's new wife Chelsea Fox could be killed - as she too has a showdown with her evil husband.

Believing Gray wouldn't think twice about killing either of them, he revealed: "I think he is capable of killing either of them, absolutely.

"He is very much a caged animal and if he is put in a position where he has to make a decision it is fight or flight, then he will do whatever it takes. I believe he would."

Speaking of the moment Gray and Whitney come face-to-face, Toby teased: "There are going to be some really tense moments, there is a pretty big stunt involved which we both had a lot of fun filming.

"Ultimately Whitney is fearless at this point, she has been trying to get Gray for a long time so there is massive showdown that is really exciting.

"It was very fun playing them battling out together."
