EastEnders viewers believe they have worked out who Linda Carter was on the phone to during Wednesday's episode.
The character made a cryptic phone call to a mystery character, encouraging them to help her run the pub.
Linda is currently trying to sell The Queen Vic, after recent heartache including the loss of her ex-husband Mick Carter who is presumed dead.
Mick is thought to have drowned after an incident with Linda and Janine Butcher at Christmas, while his body has not been found.
Linda has remained torn over staying at The Vic, with Sharon Watts keen to buy Mick's share of the pub and go into business with her friend.
Also in the running is Nish Panesar who tried to encourage Linda to sell up to him with a higher offer, but Linda is torn between the buyers.
It seems she doesn't want to go into business with either of them and now wants to run the venue with someone else.
Linda was heard on the phone, discussing possibly teaming up at the pub with the mystery person.
She was telling them to think about her proposition, encouraging them to buy the Walford establishment.
Amid speculation it could be Alfie Moon or even Max Branning she was on the phone to, other viewers now believe they have worked it out.
Fans think a double return could be on the cards, with them questioning if Linda might have been speaking to Ian Beale.
This would lead to Ian's comeback, and he could bring ex-wife Jane Beale with him after hints the couple had reunited.
While it might not make sense given Ian's history with Linda's best friend Sharon, it hasn't stopped fans believing this will be Ian's return storyline.

Taking to Twitter viewers questioned whether the soap would really have Linda go into business with Ian and Jane.
One fan said: "Oh f**k off, if Linda called Ian of all people, I'll never say a nice word about Clenshaw again. Especially if he comes back with Jane."
Another viewer said: "If it does turn out to be Ian, Sharon is going to be so angry with Linda," as a third fan wrote: "Could the knight in shining armour be the return of ian beale."
