TV schedules are facing a bit of a shake-up this summer, what with various sporting events and news stories overtaking evening programming on Thursday, July 7, so BBC soap EastEnders is being bumped forward because of the match between Norway and Northern Ireland in the Euro 2022 championship.
Instead of the soap's usual 7.30pm slot, it is now on at 7pm - the slot usually filled by The One Show,. The evening magazine show, fronted by Alex Jones, is now off air until next week. More on that here.
Fans of the Square will be used to scheduling alterations for sport as episodes were moved from their regular slot last summer for the men's Euro tournament. Also like last summer, all weekly episodes are being uploaded to BBC iPlayer every Monday. This means viewers can watch the episodes whenever they want to and the episodes will be uploaded every Monday until Monday, August, 15.
This summer EastEnders will be be full of drama as Phil Mitchell makes a lethal enemy in prison, Ben struggles in the wake of his attack, and his behaviour is set to spiral out of control and a new family join the show as Mitch Baker's estranged brother, Avery, and his two sons, Finlay and Felix, turn-up in the Square.
