EastEnders fans think they have sussed out Theo's true identity as spoilers reveal a romance twist for Stacey Slater and the newcomer.
Theo gets closer to Stacey in scenes set to air next week and many fans reckon Stacey could be in danger if she gets involved with the teacher.
Theo, also known as Mr Hawthorne was first introduced on the soap earlier this year as part of a storyline with Freddie Slater.
Ever since, he's been on hand to help the Slater family with different situations and next week, Stacey gets personally involved with him as they go on a date.
When they first come together, Stacey doesn't feel like there's a connection between them at all making things a bit awkward.
When Eve Unwin asks Theo to be Stacey’s plus one at Kathy’s wedding as she thought the date went well, however, Stacey isn't impressed.
Stacey tries to think of ways to uninvite Theo after confessing she didn't enjoy the date, while it seems Theo thought it went rather well, writes The Mirror.
Fans fear that he won't take the rejection well, which comes as they reckon they know who Theo really is and his connection to the Slaters.
Freddie had confronted Theo after advice from Jean Slater, and said his teacher used to pick on him at school and called him stupid.
Freddie was then taken aback when Theo apologised for not being supportive at the time and also suggested he may have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Theo has appeared in episodes since his scenes with Freddie, offering help to the Slaters, even buying Lily some expensive trainers.
Stacey had persistent client who kept wanting particular snaps, including one of her face when she was posting pictures to an adult cam site and fans reckon that person might be Theo.
One penned on Twitter: "It be him paying for the videos Stacey doing."
Another viewer said: "He's the creep behind stacey's mystery OF viewer who's been harassing her for pictures."
One fan added: "I think the sneakers were to get closer to Stacey because he knows her cam work," as a fourth wrote: "Theo is the definitely the guy on the secret cam speaking in private to Stacey?"
Others feared he could be grooming Lily or Freddie, and might be using the gifts to get closer to them - while another fan questioned if he was hoping to adopt Lily's unborn baby.
