EastEnders' Sam Mitchell made a comeback on the BBC soap on Monday night, with fans thrilled to see her - and some were in disbelief after noticing she "hadn't aged a day".
Kim Medcalf reprised the role for the first time in nearly 17 years, with her last appearing on the soap in 2005.
Since then, the character has been played twice by original actress Danniella Westbrook, but now Kim is back in the role for new scenes.
On Monday night, she made a surprise appearance as she visited her brother Phil Mitchell in prison.
The character had been called back by Phil, and her real reasons for being in Walford again will soon be exposed.
During Monday's episode, Sam walked in and Phil was happy to see her - while little was said about her comeback.
Viewers were quickly rejoicing over her being back on screen, as others commented that actress Kim didn't look any different 17 years on.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "Kim Metcalf has not aged a DAY. The best Sam Mitchell has returned."
Another agreed: "OMG Sam is back ! She looks absolutely TANTALISING How has she aged this well?," as a third added: "Sam hasn’t aged all these years."
The comments kept coming too, with a fourth tweet reading: "Sam Mitchell. She took the potion. # EastEnders Youthful Queen."
Other viewers had not seen the spoilers about the return, with one tweeting: "THEY BROUGHT BACK SAM MITCHELL?!!"
A second fan said: "Sam is back. I squealed," as a third tweeted: "Sam Mitchell ??? Love these plot twists."
Later this week, Sam soon gets on the wrong side of Kat and Sharon who are less than pleased to see her, refusing to reveal what has brought her back to Walford after six years since her last visit.
Jack Branning is alarmed to see her again after so long, and despite her assuring him it’s a brief visit he can't help but worry.
The pair share a son named Ricky, who Sam ditched and left behind in Walford with his father.
It appears since then she's not had contact with her son or Jack, so her return leaves him unsettled.
Her nephew Ben is furious to discover what Sam is up to, and he's not the only one
Sharon fears the worst and enlists Kat’s help, while Sam herself is having doubts over whether she's really up to the task.
Sam reveals all to her cousin Billy about what's going on and why she's there, but she then tells him she’s leaving that night.
Ricky, meanwhile, is stunned to be told his mother is back in Walford having not seen her for so long.
He soon bumps into her at Walford East and the mother and son share an awkward encounter.
Sam sees an opportunity though and confronts Jack, but what has she got up her sleeve?
