Whitney Dean made the heartbreaking decision to terminate her pregnancy after finding out her unborn daughter was suffering from Edwards' syndrome but BBC viewers have spotted a huge error in the emotional scenes.
The market trader has been struggling on EastEnders but fans have noticed something hasn't been adding up in recent scenes.
Eagle-eyed viewers have noticed Whitney have been sporting different nail styles throughout the week and in some cases a change of style from scene to the next.
Posting in a Facebook fan group for the long-running programme, one fan said: "I have watched the Whitney and Zack scenes maybe a bit too close, including tonight she has had five different sets of nails on.
"Firstly no nails, then one hospital scene she had white tips and five mins later natural oval shape. Today natural plain and black tips before. I'm a nail tech so notice this. Am I the only one who notices these?"
Another viewer agreed and added: "I’m a makeup artist so I pay close attention to their makeup, you’re not alone! I notice when the makeup is different."
"I noticed this when she had the birthing episode. I pointed it out to my mum too!!! I’m not a nail tech, but I get mine done every month and I noticed it," a third pointed out.
However, one fan joked that she was too invested in Whitney's heartache to pay attention: "I would think you probably are the only one that noticed. But you made me chuckle. Only because I see daft things too."
"I wouldn’t notice such stuff at all. But I’m not into nails. I don’t really notice hairdos or similar stuff either. That sort of stuff just isn’t on my radar," another agreed.
Meanwhile, EastEnders spoilers confirm Whitney will make a huge decision next week as Zack Hudson (James Faraar) finally opens up about his HIV diagnosis.
Zack arranges a ceremony in memory of their daughter as he plans to plant a tree to remember her.
Whitney shuts down the idea at first but eventually changes her mind and ends up kissing Zack when the pair are left alone.
He pulls aways, leaving Whitney horrified and she refuses to see him, but this moment leads to Zack mustering up the courage to be honest with the mother of his late child.
As the pair share a difficult but meaningful conversation, they make a big decision about their future.
EastEnders airs on BBC One from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm.
