EastEnders looks to be lining up a new love triangle on the BBC soap, as Dana Monroe kisses Peter Beale.
Dana and Peter have a heart-to-heart next week according to new spoilers, and it seems one thing leads to another.
Fresh from her recent split from Peter's brother Bobby Beale, things remain awkward between the former couple as they begin working with each other again.
Dana later confides in Peter about an incident at the restaurant.
Things take a turn though when Peter learns the truth about his recent attack at the hands of his uncle Ben Mitchell.
As he rows with his grandmother Kathy Beale, he storms off and Dana is soon covering for him as he hides away.
When Dana later finds a gift from Bobby, she wrongly assumes it's from Peter and decides to track him down.
As she misreads the situation, Dana leans in for a kiss - but how will Peter react?
Viewers are now predicting an affair storyline, that could see both brothers wanting to be with Dana.
It would no doubt cause trouble for the Beales, and cause yet more tension between the siblings.
The soap hasn't had a huge affair plot in ages, let alone one involving two brothers - so could this be the next Sharongate?
Viewers are divided over the scenes, with some excited about the possible twist - while others are furious that Bobby could get hurt.
Many want Bobby and Dana to reunite after their recent split, but could the kiss with Peter lead to more?
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Please eastenders don't ruin Bobby and Dana they are meant for each other."
Another agreed: "Hell no! We want Bobby and Dana not this," as a third fan tweeted: "Wait wait wait - Peter and Dana are actually gonna have a thing . . ??! Please no?? I thought that was a joke."
But other viewers disagreed, with one writing: "I might be in the minority but I think the Dana & Peter content will actually be a really exciting storyline."
A second viewer said: "I don’t hate this actually at all. Bobby and Peter getting on after everything that happened with Lucy never sat right with me so I’m glad there’s new resentment coming. Also Dana is fabulous so yay at her getting a storyline."
A third went on: "I'm in a minority too, because I don't think their age gap is too much, or that they are doing something unforgivably bad by Bobby. Bobby did actually end the relationship with Dana, and they were dating but not married."
