EastEnders has revealed details about Mick Carter's final episode of the BBC soap, amid fears he will be killed off.
It's been confirmed that Mick's last day in Walford is Christmas Day - nine years to the day he arrived in 2013.
Danny Dyer will bow out in the mystery scenes, with him tipped for a deadly showdown with partner Janine Butcher, amid his possible feelings for his ex Linda Carter.
The cast were spotted filming dramatic scenes on a clifftop recently, with Janine actress Charlie Brooks also bowing out as part of the storyline.
No details about what happens have been confirmed and it also doesn't feature in the spoilers.
What is known is that Janine is seemingly finally exposed, after her setting up Linda earlier this year to make it seem she was an unfit mother.
As well as trying to get rid of her, she had her baby taken away from her - and almost killed her in a car crash before making it look as though Linda was the one driving.
Mick's world is about to implode around him, with chaos set to ensue on Christmas Day.
The spoilers have confirmed this is Mick's last day in Walford, as he bows out of the show with a bang.
Whether he will appear in Boxing Day's episode away from Walford, it remains to be seen - but what is known is the fallout will be huge.
Spoilers suggest that Mick will depart the show on Christmas Day, with Janine tipped to leave the following day.
One spoiler reads: "Secret and lies are finally exposed and all hell breaks loose in The Vic.
"With Mick’s world imploding around him, he is finally forced to face a harsh reality of his life. Will he fight for his love with Linda, will he finally see Janine for who she really is?"
Viewers will no doubt fear Mick will lose his life in the scenes, while actor Danny confessed to The Mirror in June that he was in talks with bosses to try and have his character killed off.
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
