Danny Dyer has revealed he's lost 7lbs by starving himself for 16 hours a day.
The EastEnders star, 45, initially splashed out thousands of pounds on a state-of-the-art gym, but admitted he doesn't use it because he thinks exercise is “b******s”.
Sharing the secrets of his recent weight loss after his eldest daughter Dani, 26, admitted she was worried about his health, Danny said he's now relying on a mix of yoga and intermittent fasting and has shed 7lbs.
However, he still won't give up his beloved "Stella and crackers".
Opening up about his eating habits at home, the actor said: “My wife, sometimes she cooks me dinner. But if she’s cooking it with anger and banging pots around, it just tastes like s***.
“There’s a place called the Toby Carvery and you have to queue up for a roast… I’ve got a platinum card!”
Danny is sharing his love of food with his daughter in a new four-part series, Absolutely Dyer: Danny And Dani Do Italy, which kicked off on E4 at 9pm on Saturday.
During a road trip around the country, the actor will showcase Italian cuisine and culture in a bid to educate Dani – who thought Tuscany was in America.
Danny has also been fronting Scared of the Dark, which concluded on Friday.
The straight-talking star revealed he wanted to take a year off after quitting EastEnders, but couldn’t resist the offer of hosting Channel 4 ’s new reality show.
Eight celebrities, including Paul Gascoigne and Love Island's Chloe Burrows, had to live without any light for up to 180 hours while completing challenges to win treats.
Branding it “f***ing hilarious”, Danny explained: “They said, ‘Basically, we’re going to lock eight celebrities in the pitch black for eight days’ and I was like, ‘Sign me up!’
“It depended on the celebrities for me as well. I wanted it to be interesting people. One of my heroes of all-time is Paul Gascoigne, so as soon as I heard his name I was like, ‘This is amazing’.”
The former England star won the show, which he said "bought his smile back".
Speaking about his win, Paul said: "People always question my mental strength but my success on this series proves that I am strong. I was nervous going in there but having got this far on the series made me the happiest man around. I’m so happy. It’s unbelievable."
