EastEnders' Danniella Westbrook gives update on Scouse prison boyfriend

Danniella Westbrook has said it won't be long until she is reunited with her prison boyfriend.

The former EastEnders actress has been dating a 28-year-old man named David. Apparently, he's from Liverpool and a big Liverpool FC fan but is currently spending time in prison.

Previously, she had described the relationship as "tumultuous" but now she says she can't wait for "the love of her life" to be home next year. Taking to Instagram she shared a rare image of the two of them together, but kept his identity anonymous as she covered his face with a loveheart emoji.

She added the music All I Want For Christmas is You by Mariah Carey, as she wrote: "I got what I want for Christmas. Just wish he could come home."

Danniella added: "This time next year he will be home been gone way to long #loveofmylife." The actress previously told the Daily Star all about her relationship.

The 49-year-old said: "I met him in 2017 out in Spain when we were both living there and we got together out there. It was a tumultuous relationship, it was on off all the time. But we just stayed in touch, then he went to jail early in 2019 and he got nine years and nine months.

"He's home next year though, he's got 11 months to go. He got done for counterfeit goods and he had a fight with someone, an affray. I didn't go to court or anything, I wasn't with him when he was arrested, that was when we split up."
