EastEnders has seemingly 'confirmed' who dies this Christmas and who kills them - as one character dropped a telling comment.
Earlier this year, the BBC soap teased what will happen this festive season on the programme with a special flashforward scene. In the scene, an unknown man was seen on the floor, as Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) confirmed he was dead.
The five other women - Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki ( Balvinder Sopal ) - were all stood around, with fans not yet knowing whether the death was accidental or in fact if it was murder.
However, a comment by one of the characters on tonight's episode of the BBC soap has seemingly hinted at who might be responsible for the death, and who the unknown man lying dead on the floor is.
As the episode wrapped up tonight, Suki went to visit Eve, where she told her she loved her and her only concern about handing herself into the police to save Kheerat was not ever getting to see her lover again.
Eve suggested they should just be together and run away from Walford, but Suki warned that would mean they'd spend the rest of their lives looking over their shoulder as she feared what Nish would do if he found out.
However, a comment she made hinted at who the dead body at Christmas could be - and what turn of events led to their death.
As the pair shared a passionate kiss, Suki begged Eve to bide her time with their relationship, before she said quietly in a whisper so no one else could hear: "Believe that I love you. We are going to get rid of Nish, for good, I promise."
Could that mean Nish is the one who dies at Christmas - and will he die so Suki can be free to live her life authentically? Is Suki the one who kills Nish or will Eve be the one who causes his death?
Actress Balvinder Sopal - who plays Suki - previously teased "anyone" could die this Christmas.
"There’s so many people. I think it could have been any one of the six women involved, they’ve all got a motive. I would like it to be Suki, because I think it adds an extra dangerous element to her but who knows," she said, "In terms of who meets their fate, it could literally be anyone. I think it could be Keanu, it could be Rocky, it could be Nish, it could be somebody who hasn’t been in the show for a long time, it could be somebody new who comes in. And I think maybe all of the women might be involved."
