EastEnders' Ben Mitchell drops a killer bombshell on one family next week - and it's something he's been hiding for over a year.
Spoilers confirm the character can't keep his secret anymore as he spills the beans to other residents.
Ben has been struggling to cope after a traumatic time in Walford for the fan favourite.
Earlier this year he was caught up in a homophobic attack, triggering flashbacks from a previous attack a few years earlier which led to the murder of his boyfriend Paul.
After struggling in the fallout his relationship with husband Callum Highway became strained and then in May, Ben was raped by newcomer Lewis.
Ben has only confided in a few residents, including his mother Kathy, while Callum believes he was cheated on and the pair have split up.
With Ben withdrawing himself from everyone and acting out of character, his mum grows worried about him and is desperate for him to seek help.
Things come to a head though when he accidentally attacks Kathy and is disowned by his loved ones, leading to him taking drugs.
When he's found in The Arches by pal Kheerat Panesar, he's soon left feeling guilty when his friend offers him some sentimental words.
Of course viewers know that Ben was partly to blame for the death of Kheerat's brother, who died in prison last June.
The Panesars begged Ben to organise protection for Jags after he was being targeted, but after believing Kheerat had betrayed him he called this protection off.
Shortly after, Jags was killed and Ben has been dealing with the guilt ever since.
Next week, he finally tells Kheerat and the Panesars the truth, as they try to help him - with Kheerat realising he is high.
As nurse Ash checks him over, Ben refuses to accept their help and ends up letting slip what he did leaving them horrified.
Ben tells them that he killed Jags, but how will they react and will they want revenge?
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
