EastEnders spoiler pictures confirm a familiar face in soap land will join the BBC show in the coming weeks , in the role of Brett.
Hollyoaks' Ziggy Roscoe actor Fabrizio Santino is heading to Walford in his first soap role in almost eight years.
Fabrizio will play Brett, a blast from the past for current character Zack Hudson with huge scenes ahead.
While it's thought Brett will only be in a few episodes for now, spoilers reveal the character "turns Zack's world upside down" with a bombshell.
Details on what he tells Zack remains unknown for now, but it's set to leave Sharon Watts' brother reeling.
There's not much said about Brett as a character, and how the pair know each other - but Zack is rattled to see him.
Viewers of Hollyoaks will know the actor playing Brett, as he played fan favourite Ziggy on the soap between 2013 and 2015.
Fans were devastated when the character was unexpectedly killed off over Christmas in 2015, following an explosion.
Ziggy had survived the blast, which saw him save Leela Lomax from a presumed gas leak - actually caused by her on/off lover Cameron Campbell.
But on Christmas Eve while he was celebrating with friends at the pub, Ziggy died suddenly - while everyone had assumed he was asleep.
Fans sobbed as they learned Ziggy had actually suffered an epidural hematoma, and with him not being checked over after the blast he died.
Since then, actor Fabrizio has starred in a number of short films with EastEnders marking his return to soaps.
As for Brett, Zack is less than happy to see him but things get even worse when he sees Sharon interviewing him for a local job at the gym.
Zack warns her he's not the right person for the job and he tries to warn him away from Walford. Brett soon drops a bombshell - but what is it and why has it caused him so much pain?
