A major clue as to who is set to meet a grizzly end on EastEnders this Christmas was dropped in last night's episode.
Fans have been driven wild speculating the perpetrator and who will be killed over the festive period after show bosses teased their explosive seasonal storyline earlier this year in an unprecedented move which saw them include a flash forward scene to a mystery whodunnit.
In the scene broadcast earlier this year, an unknown man could be seen on the floor, as Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) said he was dead. There were five other women in the scene too - Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) - who watched on in horror. Viewers didn't know if the death was accidental or on purpose, but according to the Mirror, a huge hint was made on Thursday's episode this week.
As last night's show came to an end, Suki went to visit Eve and she told her the only concern she had about handing herself into the police to save Kheerat was not ever getting to see her again, as the pair are in love. When Eve suggested they could run away, Suki replied they'd only spend the rest of their time together looking over their shoulders and wondering if her husband Nish was coming after them, and what he'd do to them if he found out about their affair.
But then, according to the Mirror, she made a comment that dropped a major clue who the dead body at Christmas could be - and what turn of events led to their death.
As the pair shared a passionate kiss, Suki begged Eve to bide her time with their relationship, before she said quietly in a whisper so no one else could hear: "Believe that I love you. We are going to get rid of Nish, for good, I promise." So could it be Suki or Eve who has done the deed? and is it Nish on the floor?
Actress Balvinder Sopal - who plays Suki - previously teased "anyone" could die this Christmas.
"There’s so many people. I think it could have been any one of the six women involved, they’ve all got a motive. I would like it to be Suki, because I think it adds an extra dangerous element to her but who knows," she said, "In terms of who meets their fate, it could literally be anyone. I think it could be Keanu, it could be Rocky, it could be Nish, it could be somebody who hasn’t been in the show for a long time, it could be somebody new who comes in. And I think maybe all of the women might be involved."
