EastEnders airs Tiffany Butcher's return tonight ahead of Keegan Baker exit

EastEnders airs a comeback in the next episode of the BBC soap, during Keegan Baker's time of need - while it also seems the episode could see another character leave Walford.

Keegan is struggling to cope with the news Gray Atkins, his brother-in-law, murdered and abused his sister Chantelle.

Gray set up her death to look like an accident, pretending he had returned home and found her dead - while viewers knew the truth.

Keegan and his family had no idea Gray had been physically and mentally abusing his wife for years, and she didn't tell them.

She finally found the courage to leave him but lost her life, while Gray went on to murder Kush Kazemi and Tina Carter, and abuse new wife Chelsea Fox.

Keegan blames himself for Chantelle's death and for not protecting her from the abuse, so the latest news about Gray and what really happened has taken its toll on him.

Recent scenes saw him lash out at residents and his mum Karen as he continued to spiral, getting drunk before setting fire to his van that Gray bought for him.

On Thursday night, fans will see a character return to try and get through to Keegan, and it leaves him floored.

His estranged wife Tiffany Butcher heads back to Walford after being told about Gray and the revelations about Chantelle.

She decides to help him despite their split, with her still seemingly unaware at this point that her brother Liam Butcher stopped them reuniting.

Tiffany left in December after offering Keegan the chance to reconcile, but when he didn't show at the train station she assumed he didn't want to know.

In fact, Liam did not pass the message on to Keegan, so equally he assumed it was over for them for good.

But Keegan's grief has brought Tiff back to the Square briefly to try and get him through recent events - and it appears it could lead to a double exit.

Tiffany will be leaving again, and with Zack bowing out of EastEnders as Keegan very soon, it would seem this could be his character's own exit storyline.

But will Keegan and Tiffany reunite and head off into the sunset, or will the chat lead to him making a big decision about his future?

Spoilers do not confirm how Keegan leaves or when exactly, but it's reported his final scenes will air on Thursday night - so fans will no doubt be hoping for a happy ending for the couple.
