A new storyline on the BBC soap EastEnders, developed in collaboration with the charity Samaritans, is aiming to "help tackle stigma" surrounding mental health.

The plot currently follows character Ravi Gulati, portrayed by Aaron Thiara, as he contemplates suicide.
