Holiday-makers travelling to the airport from Nottinghamshire have numerous ways to get there, including trains, coaches and of course, by car. The airport is well-connected to motorways which is handy not only for the M1 which is just a few minutes' drive away, but also for the A42 to the centre of Birmingham, A50 to Stoke-on-Trent and the A453.
Drivers just need to insert the postcode, DE74 2SA, and make sure they book a parking space. But remember to allow for more time this week.
Those travelling to Download will also have a number of travel options including the Big Green Coach which will be picking up and dropping off festival-goers from across the country including Leicester. Due to the scale of the Download site, festival-goers are be being urged to follow the signposts and not trust their sat-navs to take them to the right location.
