The TikTok user known as @myveggietravels shared a spine-chilling clip of the adventure and captioned it: "The ultimate abandoned castle in Scotland for thrill seekers.

"In East Lothian lies a ruined castle famous for its Goblin Ha and tales of construction by a wizard, a team of hobgoblins and the Devil himself.

"Yester Castle's entrance is now closed to the public following a large theft of stones from its chamber... so here is a look inside."

In the terrifying clip, the visitors arrive at the castle ruin and show the hidden stone entrance on camera as they venture inside.

Next, they go through Devil's Hole, described as a "claustrophobic passage" that leads into the castle. It goes underground through a hill on the site and is nearly pitch black.

The scary video has been viewed over 150,000 times with many TikTok users fascinated by the spooky video and others saying they had visited it and loved it.

One social media user joked: "The Devil's hole... my ex had one of those."

Another said: "I'd go if I wasn't by myself lol."

While one added: "I'd do it but not sober otherwise I'd end up having a panic attack."

Yester Castle is a ruined castle, located 1+1⁄2 miles (2.5 kilometres) southeast of the village of Gifford in East Lothian.

The castle was built during the 13th century by Hugo de Gifford, nicknamed the "Wizard of Yester" by locals, He was widely thought to be a necromancer who carried out arcane rituals in the subterranean hall.

Little remains of the castle today, but "Goblin Ha', or Hobgoblin Hall- as it is known - can still be visited by those looking to explore its mysterious past but you can read more about it here.
