A concerned resident of Tranent has captured what appears to be an abandoned vehicle off of a main road in the East Lothian community.
The Audi A4 Estate is reported to have been situated on the Brickworks Lane that is found between the JET garage off of the A199 Edinburgh Road and Brickworks Road.
Locals have said that the vehicle had appeared to have been abandoned there for well over a week and that all of its windows were intact until January 2 - where it was found to be badly damaged by Alan Hook.

In the picture shared with Edinburgh Live, the passenger window and the two rear windows have been completely smashed with glass strewn all over the ground surrounding the vehicle.
A search of the registration plate shows that the car had been both taxed and MOT’d into 2023.
Police Scotland have said that they have received no reports of a stolen car in that location as of the afternoon of Monday January 2.
Comments on the post in the Tranent Facebook group suggest that there has been a recent spate of abandoned or stolen cars in the community.
