Police are launching a fresh appeal for an East Lothian man who went missing almost a month ago on New Years Eve, as they head out into the Musselburgh area to continue their enquiries.
Dean Conner was last seen on December 31, 2021, around 5pm in Links Avenue and was going towards the promenade area.
In a Facebook statement, East Lothian Police wrote: "Officers are out and about in the Musselburgh area as they continue their enquiries to find Dean Conner almost a month since he was reported missing.
"They are knocking on doors and handing out leaflets in the hope of jogging the memories of anyone who may have seen him since he was reported missing on Friday, 31 December, 2021.
"Dean was last seen around 5pm in Links Avenue and was going towards the promenade area."

The family of Dean Conner is urging anyone with any information to get in touch with the police, as they are desperate for his safe return home.
They released a statement saying: "We are completely heartbroken and just want to find Dean. Please get in touch with the police if you can help."
Dean is described as white, 5ft 10ins with short dark brown/black hair.
CCTV footage of Dean on New Years Eve shows that shortly before he went missing, he was wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms and white trainers.
Chief Inspector Jocelyn O’Conner said: “It is almost a month since Dean was last seen and his family is understandably increasingly concerned about him.
"I am asking people in the town, or who were visiting the area, to think back and see if they can remember anything that might help us to find him.
“Small pieces of information could help us to find out what has happened, so even if you think it is insignificant, please get in touch.
"In addition, I urge anyone who has seen Dean since he went missing or knows where he might be to call us.”
