The daughter of an East Lothian pensioner who was rushed to hospital after being knocked off his bike by a car is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Bill Wilson, 79, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh after coming off his bike while cycling along the High Street at the junction with Brewery Lane in Dunbar on Sunday morning.
Police have since released an appeal for information following the incident and have asked anyone with dash cam footage or who may have witnessed the incident to contact them via 101.

Bill's daughter Marion, who is local to Dunbar, says her dad suffered broken ribs and soft tissue damage to his upper body as he is awaiting more tests at the hospital and still can't sit up or stand.
The driver of the vehicle, which allegedly struck Bill with their wing mirror, stopped to see if he was okay and the police are currently looking for more witnesses or footage of the incident before taking it any further.
Speaking the day after the crash, Marion said: "He's still in hospital and in a lot of pain. He's 80 in July so broken ribs and colliding with a pavement at his age isn't good. He is unable to sit up or stand so the physio is visiting later today to see if they can get him up.
"He cycles five times a week minimum up to the yard where I am and a lot of people see him out. He cycles nine miles five days a week then comes to help out with horses and goes away back down the road.
"He is a popular figure and he is always on his bike. Someone went to my mum's door and said he was lying at the side of the road so she phoned me and I got there around the same time as the police did.
"The driver was adamant that she had not hit him but it was the wing mirror that hit his elbow and his bike swerved and hit the kerb then he summersaulted over the handlebars. He was in the cycle lane and there is an island where drivers are supposed to hang back as there's not enough room for a bike, a car and the island.
"He got himself tight to the kerb and when she clipped him the handlebars jolted to the left and he went over them and landed on his shoulder and leg. He said he rolled a few times and thought he was going to end up under the car."
Police Scotland are continuing with their enquiries and are set to speak with Bill as soon as he is able, but Marion says multiple potential witnesses dispersed as soon as the ambulance arrived so officers were unable to speak with them.
Thankfully, a woman who helps out at Marion's yard is a nurse and as she arrived, they both jumped in the car and rushed to the scene. Images uploaded to Facebook as part of Marion's own appeal show multiple helpers around Bill as he is lay on a stretcher at the side of the road.
So far, no eye witnesses have been in touch but Marion is hoping that someone may see her appeal as there were reportedly multiple pedestrians in the area when the incident took place.
She continued: "If nothing comes of this then it might make people aware of this sort of thing happening.
"My dad was just screaming with back pain and he has soft tissue damage at the back of his neck, lower back and thigh and he has had multiple scans. It's such a shame as it's my mum's 80th birthday this weekend and we had a hotel and spa break booked.
"My dad is 80 in July so we had joint birthday celebrations planned but I don't think we'll be able to go now as he can't even sit up never mind drive. I know it's only broken ribs but you have to take into consideration his age.
"The worry is that he may not be as keen to get back on the bike and it could have an impact mentally."
Police Constable Stewart Logan said: "Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened are ongoing. Anyone who saw what happened or who has dash-cam footage that can assist is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 1121 of Sunday, 23 April, 2023."
