An East Lothian woman told how a repair job on a water pipe outside her Dunbar home has turned into a saga lasting over a week.
Retired mum Jacqueline Bell, 63, first complained to Scottish Water on January 16, when the original repair of the pipe at the junction of Sea Road and Edinburgh Road led to a burst further along the line.

Jacqueline then chased the call up on January 18, and a different company attended, and it was still not solved.
Images from the scene show a massive fenced off crater filled with dirty brown water.
Scottish Water bosses confirmed workmen are trying to fix a "complex" problem and will tidy up the street when their work is finished.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Jacqueline said: "They advised that there was a problem with a hole in a bend of the pipe between Edinburgh Road and Sea Road.
"They were intending to cut out the damaged part of the pipe and replace it. They hoped to complete the work on Wednesday."
Jacqueline posted the saga online, with a further update, stating: "Scottish gas had to attend to make a Health and Safety assessment.
"Clancy were advised that they could not use a saw near the gas pipe. When I left about 12.45 they were waiting on special cutters being sent down...the cutters were ordered whilst I was there.
"It was not certain how long it would take for the cutters to arrive. It's also not certain how long the work will take.
"The water will need to go off again at some point but they could not say when or for how long...either today or tomorrow."
One comment was angry following this update, stating: "Think they turned at 1 today. And the water off again WITHOUT NOTICE ONCE AGAIN."
Another comment replied, saying: "Complain to Scottish water, I have done twice but been ignored? The more complaints the better. 2 guys at it just now but don't hold your breath, nobody that's been out to work on it seems to have a clue."
A further reply read: "It's always just two guys that come out. Waste of time and space.
"Folk being left without water without any warning is disgusting as well. When we got into ouch was told it wasn't their fault it was Clancy as it had been contracted out to them....so that must make it ok then lol.
"I feel very sorry for the folk who are during affected due to this, in their gardens and running down the lane. And the traffic hold up is terrible as well. I hope everyone managed to get at least a kettle of water yesterday."
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “Scottish Water have been working to fix this complex burst.
"We have temporarily repaired the pipe which is on a bend and located under a telephone utility box and next to a gas main.
"Our contractors are on site today installing a new section of pipe to divert it away from the other utilities.
"Once we have completed the work, we will reinstate the road and clean up the affected area.
"We would like to thank residents for their understanding and patience while we carry out this work.”
East Lothian Council have confirmed they are aware of the incident and have been notified that "Scottish Water carried out all works and remedial clean up."
