An East Lothian fish and chip shop is celebrating success after being crowned Scotland's best, while also being named as one of the top 10 chippies in the whole of the UK.
Just a short trip from Edinburgh, Musselburgh's East Coast has been hailed for the quality and value of its cod, haddock and twice-cooked chips, as well as its Stornoway back-pudding fritters and haggis bites.
And out of an estimated 10,500 fish and chip shops across the UK, the hugely popular takeaway found itself in third place in the Sunday Times' annual best chippies guide. Meanwhile, it was the only Scottish venue to make the top 10.
