East Lothian drivers warned as A1 to see over a month of overnight closures

Drivers in East Lothian have been warned they may experience disruption as sections of the A1 will be closed for the next month.

The A1 in East Lothian is set to benefit from an improved road surface, with 23 nights of resurfacing works scheduled between 7 November and 9 December 2022.

Working on over 4.2km of road, the works will cause a selection of stretches of the dual carriageway to be shut at 7.30pm, only to reopen at 6am the following morning.
