East Lothian drivers set to face £100 parking fines and new road restrictions

East Lothian

Parking fines are set to go up in East Lothian to £100 as more waiting restrictions are introduced on streets.

Plans to introduce the new higher penalty for people caught ignoring parking rules will go to East Lothian Council's cabinet meeting tomorrow.

Cabinet members will also be asked to approve several additional waiting restrictions on streets in towns and communities.
