East Kilbride police incident sees man 'slashed' in serious assault at property

Police East Kilbride Glasgow Queen Elizabeth University Hospital

Emergency services descended on East Kilbride after a man was allegedly slashed at a property in the town.

Police were called to Strathfillan Road around 7.50pm on Wednesday after a man was seriously assaulted.

A 31-year-old man was discovered with lacerations and rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance. His condition has been described as stable.
