Lowland League East Kilbride have taken their summer signing spree to 12 after a wave of new arrival announcements over the weekend - including the impressive capture of Liam Brown from Queen's Park.
New boss Mick Kennedy has had a busy couple of weeks since officially taking the reins at K-Park and he has added Brown to his squad after 'fighting off significant competition from all levels' to secure his signature.
Brown - who had a year left on his contract with the Spiders - has also been named the new club captain.
Earlier in the week, the club unveiled former Edinburgh and Spartans defender Jordan Tapping, ex-Auchinleck Talbot and Cumnock striker Keir Samson and former Troon full-back Mark Morrison.
And over the last few days, the club have bolstered their squad with several additions.
Following Brown in the door are full-back Mark Morrison, ex-Caledonian Braves Marc Kelly, centre-back Andrew McDonald, former Darvel man Chris McGowan, ex-Hamilton Accies youth winger Adam McGowan, former Forfar winger Nathan Flanagan, Ryan Lockie from St Cadoc's, ex-Pollok midfielder Johnny Lyon, and Andy Stirling, who Kennedy worked with at Darvel last season.
On the capture of Liam Brown, Kennedy said: "We've fought off significant competition from all levels to convimce him that his future lay at East Kilbride and for someone so young, he has all the attributes we look for in a captain.
"We look forward to him leading the group for the next few years."
Brown made just eight appearances for the Spiders last term, as the club came up short in their Premiership promotion push, losing in the play-off final to Dundee.
