East Kilbride interim boss Martin Fellowes is set to leave the club at the end of the season to become the new manager at West of Scotland Football League side St Cadoc's, Lanarkshire Live Sport understands.
The 25-year-old - who has been with the K-Park club for almost a decade in various roles - became one of the youngest managers in Scottish football when he was handed the reins in March after Kevin Rutkiewicz's sacking.
Kilby have since announced they have appointed ex-Darvel boss Mick Kennedy and his assistant Si Ferry to lead them next season, with Fellowes taking the team until the current campaign concludes.
But it is understood Fellowes is now ready to follow his management aspirations by taking up the vacant role at the New Tinto Park side, who parted company with boss John Doyle on Sunday.
Fellowes refused to confirm or deny the news when asked about it this week as he prepares to lead East Kilbride into their Lowland League Cup semi-final at home to Stirling University on Saturday.
He said: "I don't know what I'll be doing next season.
"I have a working relationship with the guys at St Cadoc's through my [office furniture] business and I do work closely with the chairman there, who is a family friend.
"I speak to him a lot about work and football, so maybe that's where it has come from.
"I know St Cadoc's changed their manager on Sunday night but I'm sure their focus will be on the final four games and seeing what happens at the end of the season.
"I think things might become clearer in the next week or so.
"There's a lot of conversations to have. I had a good chat with Mick during the week and I've still to decide where I am going to be next year.
"I get on well with Mick and there hasn't been a big conversation yet about anything. I'm just trying to support him the best I can at the moment because nobody more than me wants their appointment to be a successful one.
"I really do back Mick and Si to be majorly successful and anything I can do to help that, I am right up for.
"My focus is still on the first team and the under-20s here at East Kilbride."
St Cadoc's are set to find themselves in the WOSFL Premier Division next season as they currently sit in the promotion spots in the First Division, four points off leaders Gartcairn having played a game more.
Fellowes was interviewed for the East Kilbride manager's job last month before Kennedy's appointment.
He is currently doing his UEFA A coaching licence and has supported the staff on Billy Stark's Scotland under-19 team over the past couple of years.
