New Delhi: East and Central India are expected to receive most of the rainfall in the final weeks of the monsoon as it begins to withdraw from Northwest India, while El Nino has strengthened sharply and is expected to continue well into 2027, as per a report by Dolat Capital.
According to the report, East and Northeast India recorded the greatest improvement, with the rainfall deficit narrowing to 27 per cent from 29 per cent in the previous week. At the same time, the South Peninsula also saw a marginal improvement, with its deficit easing to 26 per cent from 28 per cent.
