East Ayrshire road's daytime closures for resurfacing mean drivers must use alternative route

Ayrshire Fenwick Kilmarnock

An Ayrshire road is closed during the day for up to three weeks.

Work on the B7038 between Fenwick and Kilmarnock started on Monday and is expected to continue until March 28.

The road will be closed between 9am and 6pm meaning drivers will be forced to take an alternative route via Kilmaurs if they wish to travel to and from Fenwick.
