Earthquake shakes northern Japan a week after ‘mega-quake’ warning

A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck northern Japan early on Monday.

No damage or casualties were confirmed, and the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) also issued no tsunami advisory.
