Gilead Sciences, Inc. (GILD), based in Foster City, California, has a market capitalization of approximately $187.4 billion. The biopharmaceutical company discovers, develops, and delivers innovative medicines for serious diseases, with research focused on virology, oncology, and inflammation.

GILD is set to report its Q3 earnings soon. Ahead of the release, analysts expect the company to report diluted EPS of $2.16, down 12.6% from $2.47 in the year-ago quarter. However, GILD has exceeded Wall Street’s EPS estimates in each of the past four quarters, highlighting its consistent earnings performance.
