A 21-year-old man was arrested after being caught red handed rifling through a motor that was not his on the weekend.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, around 1.45am, uniformed officers in Paisley came across the culprit in the back of a Ford Transit Van on Underwood Road.
Upon arresting him for theft, it is alleged that the man started verbally and physically abusing the police officers who tried to detain him.

She said: “If anybody has seen anything or has any knowledge about any other break-ins at that time, you can phone the police and quote the incident number 0395 and the date, September 24.”
