Cancer symptoms can appear at any time, but you may not know that some are more likely than others to show up first thing in the morning. Knowing these signs could help people get checked out for cancer and get earlier life-saving treatment.
According to a pharmacist, if you notice any changes that are out of the ordinary in the morning you should see a GP straight away. Abbas Kanani, a pharmacist at Chemist Click, explained that a persistent cough, fatigue and night sweats could all be warning signs for cancer.
He said that smokers will often often wake up with a cough in the morning, but if it persists for more than two weeks you should see a GP regardless of whether you smoke or not, Daily Record reports.
