A woman who posed as a BBC podcaster in an “obsessed” nine-month pursuit of Earl Spencer and his son has been handed a stalking ban by a judge.
Michelle Akpata, 29, bombarded the Spencer ancestral estate at Althorp with emails and phone calls, sent invites to a fictitious charity gala in a bid to strike up contact, and pestered their staff for personal details about the Earl’s son, Viscount Louis Spencer.
