Eamonn Holmes has been supported by fans after providing his social media followers with a health update. Earlier this year the former GB News presenter underwent back surgery after battling chronic pain since 2020.
Back in 2021, Eamonn discovered he had a dislocated pelvis and said his back was "out of alignment as a result". However, shortly after surgery the former This Morning host suffered a nasty fall at his Surrey home and fractured his shoulder in what he called a "massive setback".
Now in a new update on Wednesday December 28, Eamonn told his one million Twitter followers: "Worked hard at my physio this morning. Very tiring but I've now sat on my backside for 5 hours and feel bad about doing nothing..... lack of mobility & depending on others stops me doing really simple things."

He added: "For peace of mind I feel another round of foot exercises coming on."
The 63-year-old was quickly flooded with support, as one fan wrote: "I feel your pain I had 6 months of physio 2 hours a night 5 a week. I hated relying on folk.. but the one thing was NO one will ever understand how awful Physio is and how exhausting."
"Relying is soul destroying," Eamonn commented in response.
Another Twitter user suggested: "I do wonder if time at a spa might help as body weight gravity is roughly one third in the pool. V relaxing..," to which Eamonn replied: "Doing a bit of hydrotherapy already. Big help."
"All that hard work will pay off in the end," said a second fan. "I hope so," Eamonn simply responded.
Eamonn has been open about his journey and recently insisted he is "determined" to keep speaking up for all of the people suffering from chronic pain. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
