Eamonn Holmes has said his wife Ruth Langsford is an 'unsung hero' in TV in a thoughtful message.
He posted a video on Instagram on Monday with the caption: "A word about me and the two women in my life…"
The Belfast man said: "So, here you go, this is a trick question, not with catch to it, this is just about the Television Radio Industry Club (TRIC) Awards which are coming soon...

"There are nominations for GB News, my breakfast show which I present with Isabel Webster and we would love your vote.
"We are down there as individual news readers. We are also, to get the programme some recognition, it's [down for] multi-channel news programme, @ Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel... we would love if you voted for us and also another thing..."
Eamonn added: "I'd like to mention someone who I think is a big unsung hero in television. She's not good at blowing her own horn, so I'm going to do it for her.
"And that is my wife Ruth Langsford... down as TV personality. She wouldn't consider herself one but I hope you do... and cast your vote!...
"Much appreciated."
Ruth replied: "Thank you darling," while Isabel said: "Thanks partner... and thanks lovely voters."
American journalist Kinsey Schofield added: "You are precious! The two women in your life are very lucky to love you!"
